Identifying the right model
- Silver sole with r7 CGB MAX lettering and TaylorMade script, a round weight badge toward the toe, a red sole panel at the heel, 19° at the toe end and a 3 by the hosel.
What to check before using the reference
- The men’s table lists 19°, 22° and 25° heads (114–115 cc) at 40, 39.5 and 39 in and D3, with left-handed heads at 19° and 22°; the women’s table lists the 22° and 25° heads right-handed only, 1 in shorter at C8.
- Stock shafts are a 50–51 g graphite (S, R, M) with a CGB Arrow grip and a RE*AX SuperFast 45 L flex on a Winn grip; TaylorMade describes the bright finish and look of the r7 CGB MAX woods.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
