Identifying the right model

  • Dark sole with silver spokes, r7 CGB MAX lettering over TaylorMade script, a red crown edge and a 3 by the hosel.

What to check before using the reference

  • The sheet pairs men’s and women’s values in each row: left-handed yes/no, lengths 43.5/42.5, 42.5/41.5 and 42/40.5 in, and swingweights D3/C8, for 15°, 18° and 21° heads of 202, 189 and 181 cc.
  • The stock shaft is a 45 g graphite in S, R and M with an Arrow It grip, and an L flex on a Winn grip for the women’s build.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
