Identifying the right model

  • Dark sole with silver spokes, r7 CGB MAX lettering (MAX in yellow) over TaylorMade script, a red crown edge and 9.5 by the hosel.

What to check before using the reference

  • The sheet prints men’s and women’s lengths in one column (45.5 in and 44.5 in) for all three heads; the 9.5° and 10.5° heads are listed left-handed and the 12° HT carries no left-hand mark.
  • Stock shafts are the RE*AX SF 45 by Mitsubishi Rayon (S, R, M; 49 g) with an Arrow Lt grip at D4 and a RE*AX SF 45 L flex on a Winn grip for the women’s build.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
