What to check before using the reference
- The R11S fairway keeps the 2011 R11 lofts and volumes (T3 14° and 3-wood 15.5° at 155 cc; 17°, 19° and 22° at 135 cc) with 1° flatter lies (57.5° and 58°) and half-inch longer lengths (43.5 and 42.75 in), at D4 with the Aldila RIP Phenom 70 (X, S, R, M) or Phenom 80 (X, S, R) shaft; the 3- and 5-woods are left-handed.
- TaylorMade lists ±1.5° of loft adjustment with Flight Control Technology and square, closed or open face settings (±2°) on the Adjustable Sole Plate, 24 combinations in all.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
