Identifying the right model

  • The sole photo shows a dark grey sole with ORIGINAL ONE MINI DRIVER lettering on a raised panel toward the toe, red-ringed round weight ports at the toe end and low on the heel side, a small red PITTSBURGH PERSIMMON marker between them, a SPEED POCKET slot along the face side and an 11.5° badge above the hosel.

What to check before using the reference

  • TaylorMade describes a titanium body with a 50 g steel sole plate and carbon crown, a Speed Pocket and a 12-position loft sleeve with 4° of adjustability.
  • Stock build on the sheet: Mitsubishi Diamana F Limited shaft (75-X, 65-S, 55-R) with a Golf Pride MCC New Decade Blackout grip at D3, right- and left-handed.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
