Identifying the right model
- The sole photo shows a compact black sole with a lime-green M2 badge and TOUR lettering beneath it in the upper middle, a round weight port beside the badge toward the face, TaylorMade script below the badge, GEOCOUSTIC lettering at the rear crown edge, a slot along the face side and a white 3 badge with 15° above the hosel.
What to check before using the reference
- The Tour heads are about 20 cc smaller than the standard 2017 M2 fairway (175 cc and 177 cc at 15° and 16.5°) with a 59° lie against 60°; both heads are listed right-handed only.
- Stock build on the sheet: Mitsubishi Kuro Kage TiNi 70FW shaft (X, S, R) with a Lamkin UTx Cord 52 g grip at D3; the sheet describes a forward weight port and a 6-layer carbon crown.
- The table is page 4 of TaylorMade’s combined 2017 M2 metalwoods sheet, linked as the M2 Driver sheet in the 2017 archive column.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
