Identifying the right model
- A black hybrid sole with a white chevron stripe, a PXG logo near the face edge, 0311 lettering, three round weight ports and a slotted weight by the hosel; the hosel reads 3 19.
What to check before using the reference
- PXG lists all six Black Ops hybrid heads, 2 to 7, in both hands; the table gives no head volume.
- PXG publishes the same loft, lie, length and head-weight rows for the 2 to 7 heads of the Lightning hybrid, the 2 to 5 heads of the 0311 GEN6 hybrid and the 3 to 7 heads of the 0311 XF GEN6 hybrid, all different heads.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
