Identifying the right model

  • Seen from above, a white mallet with a black sight line running back from a small dot at the centre of the top rail, two short black marks at the front corners, and a black slanted neck at the heel.

What to check before using the reference

  • PING describes the Ketsch 4’s Anser 4-style hosel with greater toe hang for a strong-arc stroke, and its Eye Q focal point on the top rail with a long line and two short ball-width lines. The Scottsdale TEC Ketsch Onset is a separate record.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
