Identifying the right model
- Seen from above, a black blade with a gunmetal top rail, a single white sight line on the flange and a gunmetal plumber’s neck at the heel.
What to check before using the reference
- PING describes colour blocking between a black-nickel top rail and a matte-black PVD back, and a hosel meant to help slight-arc players. The Scottsdale Anser 2D and Anser 4 have their own records.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
