Identifying the right model
- Seen from above, an all-satin-silver blade with a short black sight line across the flange and a plumber’s neck at the heel; the rear flange is squared.
What to check before using the reference
- PING describes the Anser 2 as the Anser’s heel-toe weighting in a slightly longer, narrower profile with a new glare-diffusing raw blast finish. The 2024 Anser D is a separate record.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
