Identifying the right model
- Seen from above, a black squared mallet with two rows of seven white dots on parallel bars, a rectangular cut-out between the bars, silver arcs at the front corners beside the top rail, and a double-bend shaft at the heel.
What to check before using the reference
- PING calls the Tomcat 14 its highest-MOI putter (multi-material: aluminium body on a 304 stainless steel sole plate), with runway-style dotted alignment lines; PING groups it with the Ketsch G and Mundy.
- The Tomcat 14 Mid-Length page lists the same 380 g head at 37.75 in with a PING 17 in counter-balanced grip; it is the second configuration row.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
