Identifying the right model
- Seen from above, a black rounded mallet with a ribbed centre band framed by three white lines (along the rail, through the middle and behind) and a double-bend shaft at the heel.
What to check before using the reference
- PING groups the Mundy with the Ketsch G and Tomcat 14 as its multi-material mallets (aluminium body joined to a 304 stainless steel sole plate for a low/back centre of gravity), with full-length ball-width alignment lines.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
