Identifying the right model
- Seen from above, a black half-round mid-mallet with a silver top rail, grid-cut panels either side of a white sight line, and a double-bend shaft entering at the heel.
What to check before using the reference
- PING says Viktor Hovland collaborated on the DS72, and describes the platinum top line against the black cavity as colour blocking.
- The DS72 Armlock page lists the same 365 g head at 41.5 in with a 6° (±0°) standard loft, a chrome armlock double-bend shaft and a 21 in AVS Black grip; it is the second configuration row. The centre-shafted 2023 DS72 C is a separate record.
