Identifying the right model
- A black hybrid with a silver crown-back panel carrying Steelhead lettering, blue Callaway and club-number badges at toe and heel, an XR emblem on a textured patch and 19° printed on the hosel.
What to check before using the reference
- Callaway Golf Pre-Owned titles the table “Steelhead XR 16”.
- Callaway publishes the same lofts, lies and lengths for the 2014 X2 Hot, XR OS 16 and 2015 XR (callaway-xr-2015-hybrid) hybrids (3H to 6H); the heads differ.
- The table also lists Women’s builds of the same heads with a different stock length; they are shown as separate configuration rows, not as a separate model.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
