How to identify this generation
- A silver ROGUE PRO badge in the centre of a black cavity with CUP 360 marked above it, a Callaway script at the toe and a dark chrome finish.
- The Rogue name also appears on these Callaway irons; compare their markings before using this chart: Rogue X (2018).
What to notice in the specifications
- Callaway publishes the same lofts, lies and lengths for Callaway XR Pro irons (2015), Callaway X2 Hot Pro irons (2014), Callaway Steelhead XR Pro irons (2017); the heads differ.
Checking a club you own? These are the maker's published figures for an original build, not measurements of your club, and a source date is not the year it was made. Bending, reshafting or a hosel adjustment changes loft, lie and length, so identify the head by its own markings and have a fitter measure it when its history is unclear.
Read our loft guide for a worked example of comparing the numbers, and our used iron checklist before relying on a seller's description.
